Job Overview

The Physician Assistant role plays a vital part in supporting the mission of ensuring America's sons and daughters who serve are medically qualified to defend our nation.

This position contributes directly to strengthening the readiness of the U.S. Military by assisting in medical evaluations, aptitude testing, security screenings, and administrative processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical reviews, including applicant histories, medical evaluations, and analysis of test results.
  • Support the enlistment process by guiding applicants through various stages.
  • Uphold established medical standards for the Military Services.
Work Schedule
  • Work during standard USMEPCOM hours, typically 0600–1700, Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional weekend duty may be required in support of the mission.
  • Duty schedules are provided 30 days in advance for clarity and work-life balance.
  • Enjoy all 11 Federal Holidays off while contributing to a mission that supports our Armed Forces.
Requirements
  • Two years' experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine within the last three years.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • Active Physician Assistant State license.
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university certified by ARC-PA.
  • Certified by NCCPA.
