Senior Consultant or Manager Opportunity

Ey Parthenon Defence seeks a seasoned consultant to drive commercial, project management and corporate finance advisory services supporting the Department of Defence. The role involves collaborating with a national team to advise on procurement and commercial projects, from acquiring new Army capabilities to sustaining existing ones.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated commercial nous with at least 4+ years' experience in commercial advisory and/or transaction/project management. Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance are also required.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside partners and directors on complex policy, strategy and transaction questions.
  • Collaborate with the national team across procurement and commercial advice projects.
  • Advise defence on commercial, financial and contractual requirements of capability acquisition.
  • Balance client service delivery methods between embedded roles and virtual delivery teams.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated commercial nous with at least 4+ years' experience in commercial advisory and/or transaction/project management.
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.
  • Complex procurement and/or corporate finance experience ideally in Utilities, Resources, Infrastructure or Transport.
  • Ability to operate in an integrated contractor and Commonwealth team.
