About this Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage personnel to ensure only those with appropriate skills and qualifications are employed or assigned to tasks.
  • Ongoing performance management of the Overhead Distribution team, addressing performance issues promptly.
  • Provide guidance for safe and timely delivery of connections and appointment work, adhering to client expectations and legislative requirements.
  • Consult and support counterparts to ensure resource availability enables delivery of entire works program.
  • Ensure delivery team captures and reports relevant data from the field.
  • Manage and motivate direct and indirect reports to deliver work within specified scope, timeframe, budget, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate resource capability, skills sets, and volume to service forecasted work efficiently and safely.
  • Adequate management of internal resources, subcontractors, and suppliers using established processes and procedures.
  • Efficient delivery programming to meet or exceed Zinfra and customer requirements.

About You

Essential Requirements
  • Proven ability to drive a safety culture, implementing improved safety processes, systems, and programs.
  • Understanding of Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills for developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Effective cost centre management within approved guidelines.
  • Demonstrated competency in utilising resources, matching workforce capability and capacity with issued work requirements.
  • Experience in planning or strategy.
  • Proven experience managing field teams.
