Delivery Manager

Our Health Insurance (HI), Healthcare Management (HCM) team are embarking on a new strategic direction that involves a large program of work which spans across HI and the broader Bupa business. This program will execute the HCM strategic plan and includes large strategic initiatives and significant changes. The HCM Program Delivery and Execution team will support the ways of working for project delivery of strategic and BAU projects.

The opportunity:

We're looking for a passionate and results-driven Delivery Manager to be at the heart of our strategic change journey.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Workstream Leads, Initiative Owners, and senior leaders across both our Health Insurance and Technology teams to deliver high-impact project management services that bring our HCM (HealthCare Management) strategy to life – efficiently, effectively, and with a sharp focus on outcomes that matter.

With a packed portfolio of initiatives, tight timelines, and a wide-reaching change agenda, we're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll need to juggle multiple complex projects while keeping your eye on the big picture – all while inspiring teams to deliver their best work.

This permanent full-time position can be based in Melbourne, or Adelaide.

We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you'll have the flexibility to work from home or from our office in the Melbourne or Adelaide CBD.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

• 5+ years Project Management experience, including a minimum 2 years running large and complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes at a senior level.
• Experience using and interpreting Planview, Microsoft Project (or another scheduling tool) and agile delivery tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Confluence) would be an advantage.

How will I help?

You will add value by:

• Engaging business leaders and developing effective stakeholder relationships to understand and agree the business, customer and/or provider needs, including scope and mandatory requirements.
• Delivering on the agreed project scope within required timeframe, cost constraints & quality requirements.
• Identifying resources required and ensure resource profiles, plans and associated costs are included in the investment case alongside any benefits.
• Working with the HCM Risk and Finance Partners to prepare a Project Risk Assessment and Budget Estimation template.
• Establishing and monitoring appropriate project governance for each stream within the project(s) and ensure alignment with the Enterprise Delivery Office (EDO) and reporting framework, including updating the Planview system.
• Where a Steering Committee is required, facilitate and lead meetings by establishing an appropriate cadence, preparing meeting packs, recording minutes, and ensuring actions are tracked to drive informed decision making.
• Managing and monitoring program delivery schedules to effectively achieve key deliverables (timing/budget/scope).
• Ensuring all budget and forecast reporting is accurate, transparent, tracked and up to date.
• Ensuring scope is clearly defined and managed effectively with any changes communicated and approved in accordance with governance framework.
