As a key professional in our organization, you will play a vital role in driving the implementation of business and product changes that positively impact our customers.

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee a high-performing delivery team, aligning their objectives with those of the Customer Organization. Your influence will span multiple global divisions, ensuring effective stakeholder management and advocacy for customer-centric outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with senior leaders across Product, Technology, and Customer functions to foster awareness of product initiatives and their customer impact.
  • Advocate for customer-driven results and ensure that customer requirements are understood and prioritized for high-stakes business change.
  • Raise critical risks through relevant decision-making forums, escalate high-impact decisions as needed, and develop commercially viable plans to mitigate risks.
  • Spearhead the successful implementation of business and product changes within the Customer Organization, ensuring cost-to-service objectives are met, customer productivity is maintained, and all teams are well-prepared to support customers.
  • Champion continuous improvement of release readiness to enhance the effectiveness of change delivery.
  • Educate your team on a culture of customer advocacy, fostering customer-centric solutions to technical and non-technical challenges.
  • Promote data-driven insights to advocate for desired customer outcomes and resolve business-customer needs.
  • Maintain visibility into the impact of product changes and issues, relaying customer sentiment back into the business.
  • Develop and implement engagement models both internally and externally for XPI and Xero discussions forums.
  • Enhance the capability and performance of your team.
  • Foster a highly visible and senior leadership presence, embodying Xero's values and championing the customer support model.

About You

  • You bring a commercial mindset, preferably with understanding of SaaS business models.
  • Excellent communication skills enable you to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • High agility, responsiveness, and adaptability are essential in pivoting to changing demands at pace.
  • Comfortable working with complex data and applying robust problem-solving skills.
  • A strong people leader, driven by tangible business outcomes and results.
  • Inspirational initiative and passion for data, coupled with a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships, collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Able to challenge assumptions respectfully.

Experience Required

  • Proven leader of a delivery team, maximizing resources to deliver tangible business value.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, ideally at the executive level.
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes at all levels in various contexts.
