Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Controller to join our team on a fixed-term contract. As a Shipping Controller, you will be responsible for managing local and import purchase orders, ensuring effective communication with service providers and freight forwarders, and maintaining accurate stock order management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Order Management: Ensure accurate and timely execution of stock orders, applying consistent planning practices to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Shipping Operations: Deliver all shipping controller operations in accordance with set processes and standards, reporting on all stock movement events.
  • Liaison and Communication: Act as a principal liaison for Super Retail Group teams, vendors, trade partners, and transport providers for all stock movements, incidents, and issues.

Requirements

  • Administration and Analytical Skills: Strong administration and analytical skills, with impeccable attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Experience and Skills: Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment with high volume processing, proven ability to achieve targets within tight timeframes, and desirable experience in import management and freight forwarding.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
