Lead Content Strategist

The role of the Lead Content Strategist involves developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy to drive business growth through social media. This includes creating differentiated content for each platform, driving follower growth, boosting engagement, and managing community interactions.

This position requires working closely with internal teams and creative partners to create high-quality content that meets brand standards. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mind and be able to track performance metrics and deliver regular reports to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage content strategies and posting schedules to drive business outcomes
  • Oversee content creation by collaborating with internal teams and creative partners
  • Understand audience segments, manage community interactions, and ensure timely, brand-aligned responses across platforms
  • Partner with data analysts to define key metrics, track performance, and deliver regular reports on ROI and engagement to stakeholders
  • Work with marketing and digital teams to align content strategy with customer journeys, campaign goals, and market share growth opportunities
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy or related field
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven experience in creative brief writing, project management, and delivery
  • Sound understanding of social media channels and advertising platforms
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering engaging content underpinned by creativity and strong business acumen
