Industry Leader in POS System Installation and Support
We are seeking highly motivated technicians or students to join our team as Square POS system installers and troubleshooters.
About the Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, are tech-savvy and can think on their feet. As a Square POS system installer, you will be responsible for installing and configuring systems and related hardware, troubleshooting technical issues onsite, guiding clients through setup and providing basic training, working independently and managing time under tight deadlines, and traveling to jobs across metro and regional locations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install and configure Square POS systems and related hardware
- Troubleshoot technical issues onsite
- Guide clients through setup and provide basic training
- Work independently and manage time under tight deadlines
- Travel to jobs across metro and regional locations
Requirements and Qualifications
- Technologically inclined with a curious and proactive mindset
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Friendly and professional communication skills (client-facing role)
- Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
- Full driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Willingsness to travel (including regional jobs)
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with EPOS systems (especially Square)
- Comfortable using basic power tools (for mounting devices, cable runs, etc.)
- Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, routers, printers)
Contractor Role - Flexible and Casual
- Pay per job or hourly (depending on job type)
- Training and support provided
- Ideal for students or junior techs looking for experience
