System Installer Specialist

The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Field Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining systems at mine sites, providing technical support and guidance to customers, and ensuring the proper operation of installed systems.
The Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience in a hands-on role in the mining industry and a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer support. You should also possess strong computer skills, including networking, office suite, Windows & Linux OS, and communication systems. Additionally, you should have knowledge of databases, server environment support tools, cloud services, and be able to read and analyze documents, technical procedures, and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- • Installation / Technical support:
Participate in installing systems, guiding, directing, or executing manual labor on-site when required.
Visit customers to perform system maintenance, on-site support visits
Secure proper maintenance of systems installed on the site and their operation.
Troubleshooting Windows OS, Linux, and other company proprietary software.
Providing resolution to problems related to communication, networking, IP Routing, and synchronization
Test, Reproduce and Troubleshoot failures detected and provide a solution promptly.
Performance event investigation, resolution, and mitigation for future events.
Documentation:
Creating and documenting procedures that may be required by customers adapting the information to a customer-specific requirement.
