The Role- Support the Food & Beverage department in ensuring all internal systems are up-to-date.
- Provide first-line technical assistance for our MICROS (Point of Sale System).
This position is ideal for someone with a Food & Beverage background and a strong understanding of POS systems. You should be comfortable using Excel and have good computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
- Update POS with new pricing information when required.
- Conduct quarterly menu reviews for all restaurants and update POS with seasonal menu changes.
- Assist managers from various departments in generating reports as necessary.
- Ensure internal systems are updated to capture accurate and relevant data for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with managers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise within outlets.
- Maintain communication with the IT department on new developments.
- Lead and develop staff members within the team.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in Food & Beverage operations.
- Intermediate Excel skills - ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Experience and knowledge using POS systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing workloads.
- Solid problem-solving skills and basic IT knowledge.
- Experience working at a supervisory or management level to manage direct reports.
