The National Energy Analysis Centre (NEAC) is driving Australia's energy transition to net zero through innovative science and technology.
Job Description- Lead the engineering architecture, design, and development of NEAC's digital infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the founding team on product direction, market feedback, and platform evolution.
- Coordinate a high-performance development team including internal resources, contractors, and external contributors.
- Ensure platform scalability, security, and performance as users onboard and features expand.
Applications are open to Australian Citizens, New Zealand Citizens, and Australian Permanent Residents. Appointment to this role is subject to provision of a national police check and other requirements.
About the RoleAs Engineering Lead, you will shape the vision and drive planning, design, and implementation of NEAC's digital infrastructure. This hands-on leadership role places you at the centre of innovation; building prototypes, guiding production systems, and steering the overall build in collaboration with teams.
Key responsibilities include leading engineering architecture, collaborating on product direction, coordinating a development team, ensuring platform performance, and staying informed about emerging technologies.
Eligibility CriteriaAppointment to this role requires Australian citizenship, New Zealand citizenship, or Australian permanent residency. A national police check and other security/medical/character requirements may also be necessary.
