About the Role

This role involves implementing strategies to prevent and manage challenging behaviours, as well as de-escalation techniques to diffuse situations of concern. You will work collaboratively with treating teams and allied health professionals to provide holistic support.

  • Develop and implement behaviour management plans to promote positive outcomes.
  • Use effective communication and manual handling skills to provide physical assistance and support daily activities.
  • Work closely with participants and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure continuity of care.
About You

We are seeking an experienced professional who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality support services. You will bring:

  • Proven experience in supporting complex needs clients with a range of disabilities.
  • Strong manual handling skills, including hoist and wheelchair use.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and colleagues.
  • Basic administrative tasks, including report writing and record keeping.
Mandatory Documents
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Check
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Status
  • National Police Check (within 3 months)
  • Passport and/or Visa (if applicable)
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • NDIS New Worker Induction Module
  • Any relevant qualifications.
