Civil Project Coordinator

Penrith Municipality, Australia beBeeCivil Full time $80,000 - $120,000
Project Specialist

We are seeking a talented Project Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the project management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and verifying that works are carried out as per design and contract specifications.
  • Supervising site issues, keeping things on track and preventing costly surprises down the line.
  • On the Contracts Administration side, you will assess claims, track costs, manage supporting documentation, and maintain clear communication between stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and supporting tender packages, assisting with BOQs and estimates, and helping prepare technical and financial reports that feed into bigger picture decision-making.

No two days will look the same. One day you'll be reviewing site progress and liaising directly with contractors. The next you might be working on tender support or helping shape proposals for new projects.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience under your belt in a similar capacity. Whether that's as a site or project engineer, contracts administrator, or even a project coordinator supporting civil or infrastructure works.
  • Able to juggle technical detail, keep contractors on track, and make sure the paperwork aligns with what's happening out on site.
  • Experience working across land subdivisions, roads, or major earthworks. Or you're at least keen to learn. You may have touched on greenfield projects or city revitalisation works, and you're comfortable engaging with plans, specifications, and technical detail.
  • Confident connecting with contractors, clients, councils, and colleagues. Translating technical updates into clear, actionable steps.
  • Comfortable working with basic programs like Excel, and you're curious enough to keep developing your commercial acumen. Think cost tracking, supporting tenders, reviewing estimates.
  • Methodical, logical, and detail-oriented, but you also have the drive to jump in and solve problems on the spot.
What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you can expect:

  • Opportunities for professional growth and development in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
  • Leadership opportunities and technical challenges that will help you take your career to the next level.
  • Working with a talented and motivated team who share your passion for delivering exceptional results.

Don't miss this chance to join a leading organisation and take your career to the next level
