The Opportunity

We are seeking a Project Engineer to become an integral part of JK Williams' Project Team, working closely with the Project Managers, Site Supervisors and other construction personnel, demonstrating sophistication and a talent for project management, project administration, resources and material utilisation. This role offers the right candidate a great opportunity to fast-track to progress into a Project Management role.

About You / Qualifications
  • Progressive thinking with demonstrated commercial success and robust project administration capabilities.
  • A rigorous approach to converting project programs into well-organised site activities.
  • Formal engineering qualifications are vital, as is experience in a similar civil construction business and capacity.
  • A flair for multi-tasking and an appreciation of client care practices.
  • A sound WHS, Environment, and Quality aptitude with compliance to relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Ability to assist with meeting company goals and objectives; sound judgment and analytical insight from data capture.
  • Competencies: strong commercial aptitude; project and contract administration in a construction environment; resource management and utilisation; strong written and verbal communication; problem solving and analytical thinking; working knowledge of Microsoft Office; WHS, Quality & Process Improvement management; client and project-level functional capability; report preparation and interpretation.
