Insurance Sales Representative Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced insurance sales representative to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and securing high-quality leads.

The ideal candidate will have experience in telemarketing or lead generation, ideally within the insurance industry, with a proven track record of identifying and engaging with new business opportunities. They should also possess excellent communication skills, confidence in approaching new people, and a strong attention to detail in logging and qualifying leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development - Proactively source and qualify potential new business opportunities across commercial and personal insurance.
  • Relationship Building - Develop strong working relationships with local businesses and stakeholders to create long-term lead opportunities.
  • Appointment Setting - Arrange appointments for new business opportunities to be followed up by the sales team.
  • CRM & Data Management - Accurately record and monitor lead activity within internal CRM systems.
  • Cross-Selling - Identify opportunities to cross-sell or refer clients to other areas of the business.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of general Insurance and/or Financial Services Industries.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confidence in approaching and speaking with new people.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive mindset.
  • Experience with CRM systems or lead-tracking tools.
