Third Party Risk Manager Job Description

Medibank is committed to making real, fundamental change in the way it manages third-party risk and compliance. This requires a deep understanding of governance frameworks, APRA regulations, and operational risk management.

The Third Party Risk Manager will lead this transformation by driving the third-party risk strategy forward. Key responsibilities include:

  • Embedding the charge on Medibank's APRA CPS230 – Material Service Provider program
  • Managing the continuous uplift and embedment of the Procurement Policies Framework
  • Championing regulatory compliance across CPS230 and CPS234
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to identify and manage risks through robust systems and processes
  • Advising and empowering business owners with risk mitigation strategies

This role requires a seasoned procurement or risk professional with a sharp eye for third-party risk. Key skills and experience include:

  • Deep knowledge of governance frameworks and APRA regulations
  • Hands-on experience with CPS230 and operational risk management
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for driving results
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
