Key Role: Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance Expert

This is a senior management role responsible for managing risk and compliance in the investment services domain. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and be able to implement effective risk management practices.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Identify and manage risks across business operations, including financial, operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
  • Implement and uplift risk management practices and controls within the organization.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and report on risk exposure to senior management and risk committees.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk management.
Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a governance, regulatory compliance, or legal role with experience related to financial services regulation relating to conduct and culture.
  • Experience working in or providing services to a regulated Superannuation/Investment financial services business, with an ability to interpret and apply associated legislative requirements.
  • A sound understanding and ability to operate within Legal, Risk and Compliance frameworks, including the ability to consider compliance strategically and take a commercial approach when required.

As a key player in this critical role, you will contribute significantly to ensuring that our organization operates within a compliant framework, while driving business growth through effective risk management.
