As a key member of the logistics team, you will play a crucial role in the effective and efficient execution of aircraft stores' procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the receipt, issue, storage, and dispatch of aircraft parts, tools, and non-aircraft items.
  • Work on a shift roster and be available for standby duties as required.
  • Maintain cost-effectiveness and efficiency throughout the operation.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and security of the store are maintained at all times.
  • Monitor shelf life items and 'Services in Store.'
  • Perform stock takes as necessary.
  • Guarantee adequate protection for stored items and maintain store security.
  • Efficiently move and process parts and tooling within the stores system and identify those awaiting processing.
  • Optimize the use of available storage space.
  • Verify the accuracy of stock locations.
  • Monitor aircraft bins to identify unused stock, adhering to first-in-first-out principles.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-effective improvements to methods and procedures.
  • Implement measures to ensure the safety of those involved in the workplace by identifying hazards and eliminating, isolating, or minimizing them as appropriate. Report any items requiring action outside your area of responsibility to your supervisor.

Aircraft component knowledge, current driver's license, and ability to obtain relevant licenses are essential selection criteria.
