We have multiple vacancies to join our Hawk Lead-In Fighter program within our organisation. As an Armament Aircraft Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing and unscheduled maintenance activities across various aircraft platforms.
These positions are based at RAAF Base Williamtown NSW, with relocation support available for candidates outside the Newcastle area.
Responsibilities- Maintain emergency escape systems, egress systems, and aircraft weapon systems from computers onboard to stores the aircraft carries, plus load and handle various aircraft and stores.
- Be responsible for scheduled servicing and other unscheduled maintenance.
- Ensure maintenance and technical documentation or data used during maintenance is authorized and compliant.
- Correctly record details of work performed on appropriate documents, and gain certification of work as required.
- Report all defects, deficiencies, maintenance errors, and unserviceabilities as they arise.
- Carry out maintenance only to delegated and authorized level.
- Hold an Aircraft Maintenance Trade, e.g., Cert IV Aeroskills – Armament (Mandatory).
- Australian Citizen with ability to obtain Defence Clearance (Mandatory).
- Experience or strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deliver work within fast-paced team environment.
