Aircraft Load Coordinator: A Critical Operations Role

About the Job:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized professional to fill a key position in our Passenger Services Department as an Aircraft Load Coordinator.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify the weight and balance of aircraft to ensure safe flight operations, adhering to established safety protocols.
  • Prepare load instructions/reports in compliance with dangerous goods regulations and create load sheets for pilots.
  • Collaborate with client carrier's load controllers at their centralised operation centre, providing critical information such as dead load statements, NOTOC, and fuel figures.
  • Carefully review load controller documents to guarantee accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining precision and focus.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and capacity to work harmoniously within a team and independently.
  • High-level knowledge of DCS systems.
  • Competency in Weight and Balance course.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to undertake required training.

Selection Criteria:
- Proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining precision and focus
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
- High level knowledge of DCS systems
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Willingness to undertake any required training
- Previous experience in load control capacity would be highly regarded but is not essential (Kindly supply some form of proof, i.e. copies of licenses, etc, if obtained)
- Competency in Weight and Balance course
- Positive attitude
