Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee the daily site operations, including resource management, asset deployment, and resource utilization.

About the Role

  • Manage operational staff requirements, rosters, leave, timesheets, and span-of-control for personnel and subcontractors.
  • Support site projects and services, including mobilisation, demobilisation, and contract-related tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and company staff to control costs, expedite services, and address scope variations.
  • Liaise effectively with client representatives on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Prepare regular reports and maintain accurate records of site performance, resource usage, and project progress.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in Facilities Management within the mining sector.
  • Previous FIFO experience is essential.
  • Solid background in Facilities Management, specifically in the mining industry.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising teams of up to 15 personnel.
  • Knowledge of HR / IR requirements relating to Fair Work and OH&S generally.
  • Statutory Supervisor certificate (Section 26) – required (candidates without the certificate must be willing to obtain it).
  • Valid WA driver's licence.
  • Willingness to complete a national police check and pre-employment medical prior to employment.
  • Rio Tinto Inducted (highly desirable).
