As a Teacher with our Engineering business area, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering education practices that engage learners effectively
- Ensuring teaching materials and resources meet regulatory standards and training packages
- Creating a positive learning environment that encourages student responsibility
- Adapting learning and assessment materials for diverse students and environments
- Providing administrative, coordination, and learning services activities
- Assisting in the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs
- Maintaining a respectful and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying, and harassment
You will be a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select, and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualifications required for the role include:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent qualifications
- Vocational qualifications at AQF level 3, Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
- Industry experience in CNC setting, operating, and programming
- Industry experience in CAM programming
- Vocational currency as demonstrated through work and related experience
- Registration with (A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver)
- A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
