Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to determine training and assessment solutions
  • Design training management and curriculum information
  • Develop training materials, facilitate training development, and preparation activities
  • Author and support internal reviews of relevant training material and customer documentation
  • Deliver technical training and ensure suitable procedures and practices are engaged during technical training delivery
  • Provide professional advice on technical documentation and training matters to the Thales CMATS Senior Technical Instructor

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in delivering technical training
  • Prior experience in performing technical troubleshooting and resolving operational or simulator system hardware or software issues in a time-critical environment
  • Working as part of a team in complex, technology-based projects
  • Prior experience in working with commercial IT infrastructure
  • Intermediate level skills in MS Office Suite of Tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to working to aggressive and fixed schedules
  • Australian Citizenship / Ability to obtain & maintain a clearance

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent formal training/education qualification
  • Qualification in engineering (hardware, software, IT, cybersecurity, networking), recognised Tech Cert or equivalent experience as deemed appropriate by the Thales CMATS Training Manager

Desirable:

  • Prior experience working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Identity Management (IdM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
