Job Opportunity

We are seeking a senior finance leader to join our team as Assistant Director Financial. The role involves leading and supervising officers across multiple finance teams, providing strategic and technical advice on financial operational matters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expertise and technical knowledge in Accounting;
  • Undertaking research, interpreting and applying legislative requirements;
  • Building and maintaining internal and external relationships;
  • Responding to enquiries, providing assistance and factual advice in a timely manner;
  • Managing prioritisation of own workloads and those of team members;
  • Utilising financial analysis tools and systems;
  • Updating and maintaining Policies and Procedures and leading process improvement initiatives;
  • Preparing and approving end of month processes.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least five years' experience across finance operations;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • A Diploma or degree in accounting, business or finance.
