This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to industry research and report writing while developing analytical and economic skills in a supportive environment.

About the Role

As an industry analyst, you will be responsible for creating high-quality reports within specified deadlines and adhering to editorial and quality standards. You will collect, interpret, and analyze macroeconomic, demographic, and industry-specific data to identify and communicate key business trends.

Your Responsibilities
  • Create comprehensive industry reports that meet client expectations and adhere to company standards.
  • Develop long-term forecasts based on existing industry data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct qualitative research to stay up-to-date with key economic and industry trends.
  • Presentation of findings to clients and internal stakeholders, including public speaking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on product development initiatives.
  • Engage with media representatives to share industry insights and expertise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in economics, commerce, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to analyze and forecast economic data, demonstrated through previous work experience or academic studies.
  • Familiarity with online research techniques and tools.
  • A solid understanding of economics, financial terms, and business concepts.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A commitment to staying current with economic news and events.
  • Openness to feedback and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
