Key Financial Cloud Manager Role

This position requires a strong focus on cloud financial management, spend monitoring and cost reduction strategies. A successful candidate will possess extensive experience in financial analysis of cloud expenditure and resource utilization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial planning and budgeting to optimize cloud costs and improve business efficiency
  • Presentation and communication with senior stakeholders including directors and general managers
  • Collaboration with finance and business teams on cloud costing and financial management strategies
  • Regular liaison and presentations to senior management requiring polished communication skills and business acumen

Requirements:

  • Detailed experience within a large multi-cloud financial management environment as a FinOps Manager or Senior Analyst
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis of cloud spend and resource utilization using different dashboards
  • Strong understanding of commercial aspects of cloud financial management including Capex and Opex

Desirable Skills:

  • Additional financial or accounting analysis background in combination with cloud knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure/Office365 and AWS Cloud
  • Background working in government or education sectors
