Job Description:

We are seeking a Cloud Control Governance Lead to drive the transformation of our cloud control oversight and product solutions.

This role is part of the cloud integrations crew, which delivers complex cloud engineering capabilities and drives modern solutions and services across public cloud product offerings.

The successful candidate will lead critical cloud control posture management and risk to drive initiatives and deliver a centralized reporting service within AWS.

Responsibilities include creating technology roadmaps, offering technical guidance, governing technical decision forums, signing off on technology solutions, managing technology escalations, and defining evaluation criteria for vendor selection processes.

The ideal candidate will have mature skills in Product Ownership, cloud control, and risk management, with experience in delivering technical project initiatives across cloud controls on AWS and/or Azure.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create technology roadmaps and product lifecycles for product/control adherence across AWS cloud offerings
  • Offer technical guidance across various products, designing solutions that connect into cloud control posture management
  • Govern technical decision forums (e.g., product enhancements, connectors)
  • Sign off on technology solutions
  • Manage visibility of public cloud technology risk (e.g., EOS, vulnerabilities etc.)
  • Compose quarterly planning and technology crew memos, create, maintain, and prioritize the technology team's backlog
  • Manage technology escalations
  • Define and contribute to evaluation criteria into vendor selection processes, provide feedback and recommendations to RFI and RFP processes
  • Liaise with delivery and operations to understand run costs and challenges to identify improvements to incorporate into the product backlog
