Project Manager - Subcontractors

As a Project Manager - Subcontractors, you will oversee all commercial activities related to subcontractors. Key responsibilities include contract management, budget oversight, adherence to commercial agreements and subcontractor relationship management.

Your Tasks:

  • Understand subcontractor's scope of work: contract specifications, drawings and schedules.
  • Act as our primary point of contact and work with subcontractors to resolve problems.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plan and escalate critical issues.
  • Supervise subcontractors' daily activities and ensure work is executed as per business priorities (HSE, quality, schedule and budget) and contractual requirements.
  • Identify and document deviations.
  • Coordinate work planning with all subcontractors trades and participate in daily planning meetings.
  • Issue non-compliance-report (NCR) to subcontractors.
  • Monitor activities and provide progress reports (HSE, quality, schedule and budget).
  • Coordinate change management process and manage claims with the subcontractors.
  • Approve timesheets, progress and invoicing.
  • Manage weekly meetings with subcontractors (progress, performance, risks and opportunities, contractual issue review, invoicing, etc.) and issue minutes of meeting.
  • Obtain and maintain all relevant subcontractor documentation as per the contract.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in electrical or mechanical, or related field.
  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in Construction Management.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.
