About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Junior Sales Representative to join our team at HOBAN Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our client's logistics solutions to potential and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and Sell Products: Actively promote and sell the company's logistics solutions to potential and existing clients, developing and delivering compelling sales presentations that highlight the benefits and value of the company's offerings.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Acquire and continually update your knowledge of the company's products, services, and market conditions, staying informed about competitors' offerings and industry trends to position the company's products effectively.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Utilize directories, online resources, and networking to identify and compile lists of prospective business clients, developing targeted strategies to approach and engage potential clients.
  • Client Visits and Relationship Management: Conduct regular visits to clients and retail outlets within your assigned territory to uncover and capitalize on selling opportunities, establishing, maintaining, and enhancing business, social, and civic relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Payment Collection and Account Management: Manage the collection of payments from assigned customers and ensure timely receipt of accounts receivable, handling any payment-related issues professionally and efficiently, maintaining positive client relations.
  • Strategic Business Development: Work closely with the management team to identify growth opportunities and contribute to the development of strategic sales plans, providing feedback and insights to help refine sales strategies and improve overall performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record in sales, ideally within the logistics or a related industry, with previous experience in a similar role highly desirable.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, strong organizational skills and attention to detail essential.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, proficiency in using directories and other resources for business development.
  • Approach: Proactive and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, a team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving excellence.
