Job Summary

The Horticultural Spray Technician plays a crucial role in managing sports fields across the Central Coast. This position is responsible for delivering spray programs while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Delivery: Provide high-quality customer service to community members.
  • Weed and Pest Management: Oversee effective weed and pest management for sports fields.
  • Administrative Records: Maintain up-to-date administrative records.

This role requires a motivated individual with strong horticultural expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to safety and quality service delivery. Key qualifications include:

Essential Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Horticulture/Parks and Gardens or equivalent experience.
  • Current WHS Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
  • AQF Level 3 Chemical Accreditation certificate.
  • Valid Class C Driver's Licence.

Desirable Qualifications: A Medium Rigid Driver's Licence, First Aid Certificate, and AQF Level 4 Chemical Safety / Risk Management certificate are highly regarded. The ideal candidate should be able to manage workload independently while adapting to changing priorities and customer needs.
