
Claims Transformation Specialist

This senior position involves leading and supporting a team of case managers who assess long-term, death, and terminal illness claims. You will own a small portfolio of complex claims across income protection, death, and terminal illness, ensuring that our claims processes are followed and quality standards are met.
- Lead and support case managers in assessing complex claims.
- Own a small portfolio of complex claims, including income protection, death, and terminal illness.
- Share knowledge, coach on best practice, and model Zurich's claims philosophy.
- Ensure adherence to claims processes, quality standards, and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements by reviewing procedures and participating in key projects.
Key skills and qualifications include solid end-to-end experience in retail life claims, strong policy interpretation, and understanding of LICOP and legal frameworks. A clear grasp of medical, financial, legal, product, and regulatory aspects of life insurance is also essential.
Additionally, strong communication skills, customer focus, initiative, and problem-solving skills are required. Certification in Life Insurance (CIV) is preferred, as is experience coaching, mentoring, and lifting team capability.
