Job Summary

This entry-level position plays a pivotal frontline carer role with a focus on nutrition and dining, supporting residents to live a life of fulfilment through person-centred care and support. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation, delivery, presentation, and serving of resident meals.

About You
  • We are seeking an individual who demonstrates exceptional customer service skills, a compassionate attitude, and previous experience in hospitality or commercial kitchens.
  • A willingness to take direction from others, reliability, and shift flexibility is essential for this role.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and maintain accurate records is also required.

Please note that all applicants must hold valid working rights in Australia and be willing to undergo a National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Check.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with meal selection and timing preferences.
  • Prepare and set up dining areas to meet individual needs and preferences.
  • Actively engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes.
  • Promote resident choice and control to uphold dignity and respect.
  • Maintain accurate nutrition and diet information as required.
