About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced therapists to work with a reputable organisation delivering timely, compassionate, and expert care that strengthens wellbeing and connection across NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop collaborative, flexible, and client-centred therapy plans based on assessments, risk evaluations, and client goals.
  • Conduct wellbeing screenings and maintain accurate clinical case notes, client, and administrative records.
  • Utilise evidence-based therapies such as Person-Centred Therapy and CBT, incorporating additional modalities like strengths-based approaches, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy as appropriate.
  • Deliver group programs addressing general wellbeing, skills training, or specific needs.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in psychology, counselling, psychotherapy, or social work.
  • Registration with APHRA, AASW, PACFA, or ACA (Level 3 or 4).
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification therapy experience.
  • Experience with group interventions, facilitation skills, risk assessment, and crisis management.
  • Understanding of inclusive, person-centred, and trauma-informed practices for diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated competence in Person-Centred and CBT; additional training in facilitation and approaches is desirable.
  • Lived experience is highly valued.
