The NSW Crown Solicitor's Office is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as the Records Manager to oversee the operations of the Records and Service Centre teams.
This role will be responsible for implementing compliant programs of work for life-cycle records management, digital recordkeeping practices and digitisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and coordinating top-notch records management programs
- Leading a team of detail-oriented professionals to maintain impeccable accuracy standards
- Implementing compliant programs of work for life-cycle records management, digital recordkeeping practices and digitisation
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A proven track record in managing and supervising a small team within a high-volume records management environment
- A diploma in Business (Records & Information Management) or equivalent experience of 5+ years in the field
- An understanding of the State Records Act (NSW), standards and the code of best practice
Essential requirements include:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance
Preferred skills and experience include:
- Highly organised with a talent for developing comprehensive plans that provide clear visibility into work activities, priorities and resource allocation
- Adept at managing high volumes of work while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify and address complex records management challenges effectively
Benefits Package
- Up to 20 days recreation leave and up to 18 days flex leave per annum
- 20 days purchased leave annually
- Inclusive paid parental leave provisions of up to 16 weeks (14 weeks + 2 bonus weeks)
- Study time up to 4 hours per week
- Extended Leave of up to 44 days after 10 years or up to 30.8 days after 7 years of service
