Actuarial Analyst Position

The role of Actuarial Analyst involves analysing data and providing actionable insights to improve underwriting profit and meet business objectives. This position is part of the Home Pricing and Underwriting team, where you will work with a range of data sources to develop recommendations and implement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop statistical models to analyse and provide insights that solve core business problems
  • Prepare data for modelling purposes and build models using various tools
  • Build accurate and timely reports available to relevant users
  • Respond to customer queries within agreed time frames
  • Determine claims frequency and size models as a basis for pricing recommendations
  • Monitor opportunities to improve portfolio performance
  • Contribute to system enhancements, including pricing and underwriting systems
  • Assist with statistical modelling projects from data preparation to implementation
