Adelaide Airport is seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to assist in the delivery and management of projects at the airport.

The successful candidate will have a combination of education and experience demonstrating knowledge, skills and abilities equivalent to a Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business, Construction, Project Management, Aviation or related field.

  • Assist and lead project management activities to achieve quality, program and budget outcomes;
  • Assist with budget tracking, monitoring and variance reporting;
  • Support Project Managers, Snr PM and Directors in the delivery of Projects;
  • Provide general project support to the Project Delivery teams as required;
  • Ensure all building works comply with Airports Act and AAL requirements;
  • Understand, work within and contribute to all Company Policies and Procedures;
  • Contribute to Airport Emergency Response;
  • Embed Customer Service in attitudes and actions;
  • Contribute to a safe, healthy and discrimination-free workplace;
  • Comply with the WHS Responsibilities Guidelines;
  • Comply with the Environmental Responsibility Procedure;
  • Develop and manage reporting processes under direction;
  • Assist in the BA process in relation to 3rd Party BAs and issue of the PERCOW and oversee delivery of 3rd party developments through the building approvals process;
  • Establish effective internal and external working relationships and high standards of customer service;
  • Identify, within the context of the position, the emerging issues and events in need of organisation and attention;
  • Understand, work within and contribute to the development of company policies and procedures;
  • Other duties and projects as required;
  • Embed Customer Service in attitudes and actions;
  • Contribute to a safe, healthy and discrimination-free workplace;
  • Comply with the WHS Responsibility Guidelines;
  • Live the AAL Values.

Key Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business, Construction, Project Management, Aviation or related field;
  • Drivers licence;
  • 2 - 3 years in construction or project management;
  • Experience in managing budgeting and coordination of projects;
  • Experience in programming of projects;
  • Experience in managing design teams, contractors and stakeholders;
  • Experience in project reporting;
  • Experience in managing multiple projects in an operating environment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as effective listening skills with team members and stakeholders;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team;
  • Ability to effectively plan, organise and prioritise work on a daily basis, work on multiple tasks accurately and quickly in a high pressure/short deadline environment, and understand issues quickly and manage changing priorities;
  • Desirable: Experience in liaison with a diverse range of stakeholders; Knowledge of airport and airline operations.
