Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Transactions
  • Process bank reconciliations daily for the allocated bank accounts.
  • Follow up with business units in relation to banking queries.
Financial Reporting
  • Reconcile Donation Income in Xero compared to Salesforce on a monthly/YTD basis.
  • Investigate and report any variances.
Fixed Assets
  • Maintain the fixed asset registers for additions, disposal, and transfers.
General Ledger
  • Process general ledger journals and update reconciliations on a weekly/monthly basis.
Verification
  • Verify all appropriate documents/approvals for purchases, sales, and write-offs of fixed assets.
Additional Tasks
  • Complete other reasonable tasks from time to time as directed by senior finance team members, the Financial Controller, or the Finance Manager.

Requirements

  1. Education
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance role.
Skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office programs, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Software
  • Experience in mainstream accounting packages – XERO, Asset Management system, and Salesforce highly regarded.
