Community Engagement Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our community engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that foster strong partnerships between stakeholders and the community, ultimately leading to sustainable tenancies and thriving communities.

The Community Engagement Lead will oversee a team of professionals in ensuring compliance with governance standards and achieving key milestones. This includes designing, implementing, and evaluating local social plans and community-based projects that promote resident participation and build community capacity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and supporting the community engagement team to ensure adherence to governance standards and achievement of key milestones
  • Designing, implementing, and evaluating local social plans and community-based projects that promote resident participation and build community capacity
  • Providing accurate reporting and strategic advice through submissions, briefings, and presentations to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in community engagement and development
  • Qualifications in social planning or community development
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in working in a dynamic legislative, policy, and political environment
  • A valid driving licence
