Job Title: Community Engagement Specialist

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time role working 35 hours per week. As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will lead customer service duties and be responsible for the effective operation of community programs across a 7-day service.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead customer service duties to support the effective operation of community programs across a 7-day service.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the delivery of events, programs, and exhibitions to engage the community and promote cultural awareness.
  • Coordinate and lead collection management tasks to ensure the provision of relevant and engaging collections that meet community needs.

The Library is one of the largest and well-used library services in NSW, with six library branches spread across the Northern Beaches. We strive to deliver exceptional services to our community.
