Senior Digital Communications Officer Role

The Governance and Capability Service plays a vital role in supporting the Commissioner of Police in overseeing the operations of SA Police. This is achieved by ensuring the organization has the necessary governance and capability to meet its statutory charter, other government obligations, and community expectations.

To enhance decision-making, efficiency, and service delivery, the Organisational Reform Program focuses on data-informed business improvements. Real-time insights and data-informed indicators are used to identify performance gaps, streamline operations, and support strategic planning.

In this key role, you will develop and implement internal communication strategies, effectively managing the internal digital communications platform to reach staff. Awareness will be built, relationships fostered, and specialist digital marketing and social media advice provided to execute digital strategies across various communication platforms within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications or a related discipline

Experience working in a similar role is highly desirable. The successful candidate must hold current Australian work eligibility and be subject to a criminal history check. Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required. Participation in SAPOL's iEngage program is mandatory.
