About the Role

We're seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Communications Specialist to lead the creation, curation, and management of content across our social media and digital channels.

This role plays a key part in promoting our brand, student recruitment, and broader strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create compelling brand and recruitment content—including social media posts and videos—to support strategic marketing objectives related to student recruitment and our reputation.
  • Champion brand consistency by developing and maintaining our writing and editing style guide.
  • Review content for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with our tone and style, and provide expert advice on copywriting across our institution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers, Communications Officers, and the Web Studio team to plan and deliver high-quality, multiplatform content using industry best practices.
Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in an area relating to journalism, communication or marketing and/or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience, education and training.

Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check.

What We Offer

This is a fixed term opportunity until 04/09/2026 and can be based at Gold Coast or Nathan.

As we are a multi-site institution you may be required to work across other locations.

We offer a HEW 6 Salary – Base range - $91,843.49 - $97,964.71 + 17% super.
