Job Title: Lead Developer

In this key role, you will be working on a well-established product with an active and engaged customer base.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with the team leader on backlog refinement and triaging to drive project success.
  • Mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and contribute to the team's growth.
  • Review designs, code, and documentation by peers and promote best practices to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Implement web application features and fix bugs to meet customer expectations.
  • Write automated tests and build test plans to guarantee software reliability.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos to foster open communication and teamwork.
About You:
  • A senior software engineer with at least 5 years of commercial software development experience.
  • Experience in developing software products, ideally web applications and/or backends to support them.
  • Knowledgeable about best practice code architecture, design principles, and patterns.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Reasonably well-versed in Python 3.
