Job Opportunity: Care Specialist

The role of a Care Specialist is to deliver high-quality support services to children and their families in a multidisciplinary paediatric therapy clinic. The successful applicant will provide age-appropriate individual and group counselling to children and adolescents (0–15 years).

  • The Counsellor will conduct psychosocial assessments and develop tailored therapy plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and clearly define child goals to ensure service effectiveness and continuous improvements through regular review.
  • Provide ongoing feedback through progress notes, reports, and discussions with families/carers in a timely and effective manner.
  • Use a family-centered, client-centered, and strengths-based approach to deliver high-quality support to children with a developmental delay/disability.
  • Ensure support to children and families is culturally responsive and reflective of the community in which they are a part.
  • Consult and liaise with internal stakeholders and other agencies to develop a comprehensive approach to service provision.
  • Maintain electronic health records, documentation, and statistics according to policy.
