Career Opportunities: Clinical Counsellor

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Counsellor to join our clinical team. As a Clinical Counsellor, you will provide emotional support with empathy and professionalism to individuals of diverse backgrounds and ages.

The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment skills and experience in crisis management. You should be able to develop treatment plans collaboratively and maintain accurate documentation in case management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide telephonic and video counselling services to clients with sensitivity and understanding.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to ensure appropriateness for short-term counselling interventions.
  • Maintain confidentiality while supporting clients in crisis situations.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that cater to individual needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Master's degree in Counselling or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct client contact experience in counselling or mental health services.
  • Registration with ACA/PACFA (counsellors) is required.
  • Experience in using short-term counselling modalities such as Solution-Focused, CBT, Mindfulness, and Systemic counselling is essential.
  • Training in crisis intervention and working with high-risk clients is beneficial.
