About the Role

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Operations Specialist to join their team in North Ryde. This exciting opportunity will see you working in a state-of-the-art laboratory, supporting vital environmental and health projects.

As part of the Analytical Services Branch, you will play a key role in chemical and biological measurement, contributing to quality standards recognised globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in sample registration, preparation, and analysis for trace inorganic and organic testing.
  • Adhere to QA/QC procedures in compliance with NATA and GMP requirements.
  • Collaborate within a team to meet deadlines and deliver accurate results.
  • Provide mentorship and training on analytical testing methods and instrumentation.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including service engineers and suppliers.
  • Uphold workplace health and safety protocols specific to laboratory operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in chemistry or a related scientific field.

  • Knowledge of QA/QC in a NATA-accredited and GMP environment.
  • Proficiency in data processing and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to achieve team objectives.
