Sales Department Lead

Overview of the Role

As a Sales Department Lead, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability by optimising the range and actively promoting commercial priorities.


Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales and profitability through effective range management and promotion of commercial priorities.
  • Act quickly on commercial opportunities and customer feedback, and monitor competition and supply performance.
  • Ensure the shop is in excellent condition and fully stocked to enable customers to make informed buying decisions.
  • Foster an environment of trust by encouraging open and constructive feedback with your team and other colleagues.
  • Support your manager in managing the recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning, and competence development of the team.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years retail leadership experience.
  • Passionate about home furnishings, with a love of sales and a desire to lead and motivate a team.
  • Business-minded and result-driven with a strong customer focus.
  • Previous experience managing and leading a retail store or large home furnishing business, with demonstrated success in driving sales growth.
  • Energy and enthusiasm for fast-paced retail environments, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively.
