Leading Infrastructure Planning Expert

This leadership role is responsible for managing the planning of efficient, smart, high-performing and integrated water and wastewater assets.

The Team Leader Infrastructure Planning leads a team of engineers and contractors to plan the water and wastewater infrastructure for multiple towns.

This role plays a key part in building relationships with stakeholders, working closely with other teams to ensure successful project delivery.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team to deliver the infrastructure planning program, including master plans, feasibility assessments and design projects.
  • Lead the updates to a rolling 10-year capital program based on master plans and financial models.
  • Provide technical advice on engineering matters, including development inquiries and proposed infrastructure works.
  • Ensure that engineering practices are sound, meeting regulatory requirements, standards and industry best practices.
  • Develop an inclusive and equitable working environment where team members can excel.

Key Skills Required:

  1. Leadership experience with ability to support team growth.
  2. Advanced communication skills for stakeholder management.
  3. Engineering analysis and technical advice provision.
  4. Program, contract and budget management experience.
  5. Qualification in Engineering.
