About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinician to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality clinical services to consumers who require additional support early in relapse or following an acute inpatient admission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and support to junior staff and provide 1:1 clinical support for consumers
  • Manage referrals and develop effective relationships with a range of other service providers
  • Support people to sustain existing resources, assets, networks and relationships and access new opportunities, resources and services to achieve their recovery goals
  • Take a leadership role in providing a range of direct clinical mental health assessments and interventions for consumers and carers
Requirements
  • Degree (minimum) in Nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Division 1 or 3
  • Masters Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology recognized by the Australian Psychological Society and registered as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Bachelor of Social Work (B.SW). Eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Eligible for membership of Australian Association of Occupational Therapy and registered as an Occupational Therapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
