Yooralla is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Clinician - Speech Pathologist to join our team in a consultancy role, working with a variety of people with disability and their referring Speech Pathologists.
Key Responsibilities- Provide best practice, evidence-informed speech pathology services to support people with a disability to achieve their goals and lead the life of their choosing.
- Hold a strong understanding of working within a human rights practice framework, person-centered and family centered practice, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary models of support.
- Manage a clinical case load and contribute to research and development, policy and practice frameworks, supporting clinical risk management as required.
- Provide strong practice leadership across the organisation and contribute to workforce recruitment and planning, staff education and training in areas of specialist clinical knowledge.
You will be an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in speech pathology, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage people with a disability and their support team to build their capability.
To be successful in this role, you'll share Yooralla's values and have:
- Experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model.
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients, their families, and referring therapists.
- A willingness to continuously improve on your clinical and technical knowledge.
- Care for the work you do and for the people you work with.
- Competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems.
- International Police Check (if required).
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current driver's licence to drive in Australia.
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
