Occupational Health and Injury Management Professional

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health and Injury Management Professional to join our team. Reporting to the Lead, you will provide specialist occupational health and wellbeing advice and services. Working as part of a team achieving effective risk management, continuous improvement, and leading positive cultural change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement services to manage risk including:
  • Provide incident management, early intervention, and end-to-end injury management for a portfolio of cases.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including Human Resources, Workers, and Managers at all levels, to minimize risk.
  • Achieve compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver pre-employment medical reviews.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of the wellbeing program.
  • Manage health surveillance and first aid management programs.
  • Implement strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Suitably qualified health professional (e.g., Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Registered Nurse, Osteopath).
  • Post-graduate qualification in occupational health management or equivalent.
  • Occupational Health first aid certificates.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience working within an organization delivering health and injury management services.
  • Knowledge of safety and workers compensation legislation and regulations.
